The 1661 Woman

On Tuesday we celebrated the 60th birthday of my lovely mother. This glamorous creature is an inspiration to us girls. She still looks like a young lady despite her self titled 'Grumpy Old Woman' nom de plume!

I surprised her with a hairdressers appointment at Toni and Guy at 12.15pm, spookily the exact time of her birth! She was both surprised and thrilled and loved the results. We had a lovely day shopping just mum, Saffron, Lizzy and I and then went home to a chinese take-away, presents and a long session in the bar. It was a great day.
