Summer Break

It seems like a long time since I last posted a blog entry. Much has been happening in my life since then. More press coverage in Devon Life and Irish Tatler, which is really nice. I also have an article coming out in the September Period Living, available in August.

Thank you all for your lovely lovely comments. I do appreciate them. My website is still open but I am taking a break from blogging for now, be back soon xxx

I ,too, am so sorry to hear of the unhappy situation you are going through, or in other words, what a bloody bummer! I have no idea where your head is right now but as the blogger above said, you can always vent here, we will listen and without a doubt, understand. You may not feel like it right now but you are a successful, beautiful woman and you will land on your feet! then you can show us all pics of your lovely new place and how beautifully you are decorating it ( which we know you will love doing!) . The magazine articles and pics are superb, I really enjoyed reading them. Thinking of you, come back when you're ready.

Yours was the first blog I ever came across and I was flattered when you left the very first comment on mine. I follow your story and success with your business with total admiration. So I am very sorry to hear of the sad time you are going through. I hope things improve and that you soon start to build another beautiful nest for you and yours. Take care and I will send lots of positive thoughts your way. Mary x

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. It's cliche, but it's so true. I've loved reading your blog, and I can't wait to see what beauty the Lord will erect out of this pain. I'm so sorry you are hurting, and I will pray that your children will be shielded from as much of the grief as possible. In your corner...

Oh Donna, that sucks! I am so sorry to read your news which is so clearly not at all what you deserve. There is one thing that is clear though and that is that you have an incredible talent for making a house into a wonderful home and you'll be taking that with you wherever you end up. Hope the painful times are soon behind you and that the summer brings some smiles and good times. All the best to you and your family xxx

Donna, I am so sorry to hear to your news but applaud your bravery. I can only imagine what it must be like to have a relationship and a home all changing at the same time. Well, actually I do know what it is like. Awful. But I understand your need for a blogging break and I truly hope that you have a summer that gives you rest and comfort.
All my love

Hi Donna, it's great to hear from you again, hope you are feeling a bit better now after your break from blogging and things.
It's a shame Ardingly is too far for you to go isn't it-you would be in heaven! The photos you posted are stunning! I am green with envy of your bedroom curtains! They look suspiciously like my fave Cath Kidston discontinued fabric...
