Bootsales, Bluebells and Barbecues!

Today was a lovely day, gloriously sunny and warm.

In the morning I went to the first bootsale of the year and got some great fabrics, a tailor's dummy and some other  bits.

In the afternoon, we went to Hartland Abbey for one of their Bluebell Sundays. The house and gardens are so pretty and we walked through the woods to the sea, via the gazebo and then home for the first barbecue of the season.

Happy days!

What beautiful photos, Donna.
So glad you had a great time after we parted yesterday - I did too, except for the cool wind coming onto the beach from the sea.
I was hoping to strip down to my swimsuit but it wasn't quite warm enough...
Those bluebells remind me of the woods on your land, before you moved to your present home.
The bluebells were phenomenal. weren't they?

Hi Donna

My idea of a happy day out too. Glad you had a good day out. Your boot fair trip sounds like a great success!

I like that area of Devon I stayed in a cottage in Bucks Mills some years ago.

Warm wishes

Mmmmm.....bluebells - ours are just about almost there in the garden, just a couple more days.

Do you know, I have exactly the same CK bag - do you feel like your always fishing around in it? I feel like mine is going to swallow me one day!
