I haven't been able to look before, the mess was upsetting me! But now you have a plastered ceiling, it's coming on nicely. I can't wait to see it all finished, I'm sure it'll be wonderful!

Its really coming on - love Farrow & Ball paint - we tend to stick to same colour now - since 12 trips back and forth changing minds when we did the dining room !!

I hate choosing paint colours - when I was growing up my mom and dad used to spend days arguing over paint colours and then end up painting it ...............WHITE !

Me and Andrew spend days arguing over paint colours and then end up painting it ..........................Old White !! So you see I do feel a bit reckless !!!

Now the best bit will soon start. I enjoy painting, but not the ceilings.
Your fire looks interesting, how does it work?

I love freshly plastered walls and ceilings! I could stare at them for hours, I don't know what it is about them, watching them dry is just fascinating, or it could be the excitement of knowing that painting them is getting nearer and nearer!

Having skirtings off the wall to paint them has to be easier than all that cutting in ...

My word veryfication is 'annolomy' - not quite spelled right but makes you think ...
